Cat-speak : Human-speak

Glowpoles: Streetlights on the sides of Thunderpaths

Crow-food: Rotting or discarded food or prey which has began to decay or rot. Cats who eat this often become sick afterwards.

Fox-dung: insult-- stronger offense than mouse-dung. A cat calling you to be similar to a piece of fox dung.

Fresh-kill: The recent catch of prey, such as a mouse or bird.

Gathering: A meeting at Fourtrees or the Island where all four(five) clans meet in peace to share the news of each moon. Fighting here is against the warrior code.

Greencough: a severe chest infection, which can be fatal for younger cats and elders, can also be known as a flu for cats which usually comes after a mis-treated or missed Whitecough.

Greenleaf: Around Summer time where prey is most common. It's warm, nice, and leaves are bright and green. This is known to be many cats' favorite season.

Greenleaf Twolegplace: a place where humans only visit in the summer.

Halfbridge: a dock that leads out to a lake, larger ones usually have water monsters on their sides.

Horseplace: The fields and stables where horses and farm animals live. Semi-kittypet, semi-loners stay here.

Housefolk: a kittypet's word to speak about humans.

Kittypet: A human/twoleg pet that is known to just stick around their gardens.

Leaf-bare: Around Winter time when prey becomes quite scarce. Trees are bare and only some amounts of leaf litter remain. Snow blankets the ground after about a half-moon in.

Leaf-fall: Around Fall or Autumn when prey amounts start to die down, leaves fall from trees and the ground may start to frost, rain is more frequent.

Loner: a wandering cat that is not a kittypet, nor a clancat. they are usually nomadic, traveling without territory and moving when they see fit. They know about clans, but are generally non-aggressive with them (Ex; Barley, Ravenpaw)

Monster: The large creatures known as "cars" which twolegs or humans drive across a thunderpath (see thunderpath)

Moonhigh: the time of night the moon is at it's highest: normally midnight.

Mouse-brain: insult-- calling somecat dumb or stupid. ("You're such a mouse-brain..")

Mouse-dung: insult-- stronger than mouse brain but less offensive than fox-dung

Newleaf: Spring time, when plants are most common and are growing. Prey starts to become plentiful and becomes strongly abundant towards the end.

No-furs: a word generally used by loners to name humans

Moon- A month or 29 days (can be said "it's been a moon" "it's been three moons ever since___".

Half-Moon: around 2 weeks or half a month of time.

Quarter-Moon: around a week of time

Rogue: A particularly hostile cat who lives outside the Clans and never spends too long in one place. They can also be former Clan cats that were exiled.

Sharing tongues: A time of day when the members of a clan speak and share the day's news, generally while eating prey or grooming eachother.

Silverpelt: the cluster of stars in the night sky, also known as Starclan's territory.

Sun-drown-place: The far sea to the west, where the sun sets and where Midnight resides.

Sunhigh: A time around noon or mid-day

Thunderpath: A human road which is named for the loud thunder-like sound when monsters roll down it.

Thundersnake: A train. Their path is called the silverpath because of the shiny look of the iron.

Tree-eater: A bulldozer or crane.

Twoleg nest: a human house.

Twolegplace: a human town or village.

Twolegs: a word used by the Clancats to name humans

Upwalkers: a word used by Purdy to name humans

Whitecough: a mild chest infection, which usually comes during Leaf-Bare and is the developing stage before Greencough.

Bile: Vomit

Fox Length: About the length of a fox, so about a meter or 3 feet in length.

Tail Length: About the length of a tail, so about a 30 centimeters or a foot long.

Mouse Length: about the length of mouse, so approximately a couple inches in length.

Mrrow: Described when a cat is trying to hide a laugh or smile

Mak(e/ing) dirt: To make waste in a dirtplace or bathroom.
